Accessibility Statement

Conformance target

The INFORM website is designed against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2, level AA. An independent accessibility audit has not yet been completed; this statement will be updated when the audit is finalised.

Implemented measures

• Semantic HTML landmarks (header, main, footer) and skip link to main content.
• Keyboard-accessible navigation with visible focus styles.
• Colour contrast designed to meet WCAG 2.2 AA targets (verification pending audit).
• Forms with explicit labels, validation messaging and CSRF protection.
• Respect for the prefers-reduced-motion setting; videos and animations are not auto-played with sound.
• Demonstration interfaces include text labelling so colour is not the only indicator.

Known limitations

• Some legacy media files do not yet have transcripts. Transcripts will be added.
• The PULSE concept interface is information-dense; a simplified text view will be added.
